New Fortnite game: Aqua-Neon City!

New Fortnite game released!

We just released our first Fortnite game called Aqua-Neon City – The Fight for Tomorrow. Map code: 4639-7425-3122

Created in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) we have created a game experience that takes place in a world full of black plastic, neon and water.  The leaders said they would take care of the city, but they left it in a mess and only you as a team can save it now.

Game description

🕒 It’s the year 2029. Just one year before, Aqua-Neon City was promised to be a 🌱green and clean paradise.

😱 Leaders abandoned the city. Now, mutant 🧟monsters and evil 🤖robot guards rule.

👊 It’s up to you, the people’s resistance, to clean up before it’s too late! 🕒

🟢 Collect green cylinders of polluted goo in all colour zones to purify the city.

🌞 It’s time to fight for a brighter tomorrow.

We’ve been experimenting with the Song Sync Device in Patchwork, and here’s a cool example of how it works! This method combines cinematic sequences (using keyframes to control objects) with synced audio files, all managed through the Patchwork Music Manager. In this setup, the Song Sync Device brings two Niagara particle systems to life and animates two shapes—the hollow triangle and the cube in the center. ✨ It’s a hands-on process (you set up the keyframes yourself), but it’s super effective and gives you full control over every detail. Plus, you can tweak particle timing to match the beats perfectly—because let’s face it, timing is everything when it comes to music experiences! Here's a quick demo and look behind the scene of our LEGO Fortnite music game #DJBRICK. In this split screen video you get a glimpse of how we've set up all of the #Patchwork music devices, that together with #Verse code (the programming language in Unreal Editor for Fortnite / UEFN) controls the unlocking and triggering of different sounds loops. As soon as you've unlocked sounds you can shoot at the cubes/bricks to mix them. You'll also need to make sure to keep your health by collecting consumables like 🍎 🍕 and more.
